"Our purpose is to commit minds to inquiry, hearts to compassion, and lives to the service of mankind"
Welcome to the New Trier East High School Class Of 1973* web site.
Barb's In Memory page can be visited HERE.
We held our 40-Year Reunion on Saturday, October 12, 2013.
It was a smashing success!

". . . friends come and go, but for the precious few you should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you knew when you were young."
- Baz Luhrman (as aptly quoted by Kim Rempert Hoberg)
The first instalment of candid photos from the Saturday Reception has been uploaded, and can be viewed HERE. Photos from the All-Star Jam can be viewed HERE. Need to hear a song of farewell, a hauntingly beautiful one sung in Swahili? Check out Anastasia's Song at the bottom of the Pursley Breakout Reunion Page, HERE.
If you have photos of the event email them to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will ensure that they are added to this site.
This site has been established as a permanent social-networking facilitator for the New Trier East Class of 1973 and friends. It is NOT going dark now that the 40-Year Reunion is past, or at any foreseeable time in the future. This site will be available indefinitely, as a resource to facilitate the organization of FUTURE events, including reunions. THERE HAS ALREADY BEEN TALK OF ORGANIZING A SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL AT A BUCOLIC SETTING IN WISCONSIN, AND PERHAPS A 45-YEAR REUNION (since this last one was so much fun). More on that shortly.

The NEW TRIER ALL-STAR JAM went forward on Friday October 11, 2013 and was, as expected, an unforgetable musical event. For details, click HERE. Beth Jonquil was just one of the All-Star performers!

Please reach out to Classmates listed in the "Missing Classmates" section herein and refer them to this site, http://www.newtrierclassof73.com. If you want to search for that long-lost friend use their full name from the applicable Graduation Program and try https://pipl.com/. It's free. What purports to be a complete list of every student who ever participated in the Center for Self-Directed Learning can be seen HERE.
To view a Facebook Page for the Reunion set up by some NTE grads click HERE.
Official Programs from the NTW and NTE '73 Graduation Ceremonies are now online and can be viewed HERE!
This site now permits you to Live Chat and IM other class members on the site. Just click on "Live Chat" or "Turn on IM" in the navigation pane to begin.
**CHECK OUT VIDEOS MADE IN RECENT YEARS BY NEW TRIER STUDENTS HERE. They are all great but the one by the Girl's Swim Team is especially cool (IMHO)! (Remember to wait a moment for the links to load up.)**
Here is a very kind message received from Maura Donohue:
Not going to make it to the Reunion so I thought I would send a toast to the fun!
